Charities we Support

The Humble Gents is a small company working to help people explore what it means to be authentic. Through the website and blog posts we're attempting to explore what authenticity looks like when applied. We believe that, when we're authentic the world will change. And it all starts with you, right here, right now.

Our small batch, hand crafted products are made with care at an affordable price. The best part of kicking this company off is that we have an opportunity to give back.  10% of all sales go directly to charity. It may seem small, but so is every seed that is planted in the ground.

We understand that the world is our business.  As such, it is up to us to look after those who may not be able to look after themselves.

The list is short because we carefully select charities to ensure those we support are responsible. Each month, as we continue to pursue social responsibility we will update the list. A link is provided for you if you would like to learn more or support any of the charities yourself.

Water.org

The Humble Gents Supports Water.org

Access to safe water can protect and save lives, just because it's there. Access to safe water has the power to turn time spent into time saved, when it's close and not hours away. Access to safe water can turn problems into potential: unlocking education, economic prosperity, and improved health.

Every human being deserves to define their own future, and water makes that possible. We've transformed more than ten million lives with access to safe water and sanitation, and together we can reach even more people.

We defend wilderness, support community sustainability, fight for clean air & water, combat invasive species & climate change, & advocate for private land stewardship and working farms & forests.

Donors Choose

Humble Gents soaps and beard oils support local classrooms

DonorsChoose.org makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.

“We’ve heard people say that teachers have no business going rogue and trying to select their own books, technology, and classes–and citizens have no business deciding what is worthy. And yes, we have a position on that, and a response to people who raise that question,” says Best, evenly. “ ’Screw you. We believe in teachers. We believe in the wisdom of the crowd.’ ”

St. Baldricks

St. Baldricks, supports the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. The St. Baldrick's Foundation funds cancer research just for kids. They are the top private funder of childhood cancer research grants in the U.S. and around the world.

Each year, thousands of volunteers worldwide organize fundraisers, such as head-shaving events, to raise money to support life-saving childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick's events are the largest volunteer-powered fundraising opportunity benefiting pediatric cancer research.

Feeding America

The Humble Gents supports Feeding America

The Feeding America network is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Together with individuals, charities, businesses and government we can end hunger.

In a country that wastes billions of pounds of food each year, it's almost shocking that anyone in America goes hungry. Yet every day, there are millions of children and adults who do not get the meals they need to thrive. We work to get nourishing food – from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers – to people in need. At the same time, we also seek to help the people we serve build a path to a brighter, food-secure future.

Cheers,
